Biography:

I am Dr Deepa Sachan an environmental scientist specializing in advanced materials synthesis and characterization for water treatment applications. With a Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahti, Guwahati, India and postdoctoral researcher in University College Cork, I've developed expertise in fabricating nanomaterials and composites using various techniques including hydrothermal, pyrolysis, and CVD methods. My research focuses on transforming waste materials into functional materials for removing emerging contaminants from water.
