Abstract Title: Enhancing plastic waste recycling through membrane technology
Biography:
Laila Halim graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Bachelor of Science from Monash University in 2020. She is currently undertaking a PhD within the department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Monash University, working to utilise membrane technology for plastic recycling applications, under the supervision of Prof. Matthew Hill and Dr. Leonie van't Hag, and as part of the CSIRO Ending Plastic Waste Mission. She was the 2023 recipient of the Ezio Rizzardo Polymer Scholarship from the Australian Academy of Technological Science & Engineering.
