Biography:

Dr Jayanath Ananda is a senior lecturer at the School of Business and Law at CQ University Australia. He is a theme leader at the Centre for Regional Economies and Supply Chains and a consultant for End Food Waste Australia. His current research interests include modelling household food behaviours and the circular economy. He has authored over 75 highly cited publications in top-ranked journals. Dr Ananda has been recognised among the World’s Top 2% Highly Cited Scientists for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025), as listed by Stanford University and Elsevier. He also serves as the Associate Editor for Water Policy, the official journal of the World Water Council.
