Abstract Title: Textile waste recycling: a study on finishing, evaluation and removal

Biography:

Dr Alessia Patrucco has been a researcher at the Institute of Intelligent Industrial Technologies and Systems for Advanced Manufacturing (STIIMA) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) since 2008. She has participated in national and international research projects in the textile and biopolymer fields. She has developed various methods of exploiting textile waste, particularly wool waste, to produce materials useful for bio-construction, medicine and agriculture. She is a contract professor for the Textile Fibres and Textile Sustainability course at various textile academies.
